Moab – RV Camping Near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks
We were in Moab, Utah twice last year – once on our way east through the Rockies to get home to Missouri for orthodontist visits, (the joys of traveling with school age children) and once on our way back west to spend the fall in Arizona before the holidays. Moab is probably one of our favorite towns in the country, after our couple of weeks there. Being in the Colorado River basin with Arches National Park just 10 minutes away, and Canyonlands National Park a short 30 minute drive out of town, you have no shortage of awe-inspiring views and recreation options. Where We Stayed – Sun Outdoors North Moab Unfortunately for us, the Thousand Trails network doesn’t include any campgrounds with access to Moab. That meant that we had to pay out for an RV park in a vacation destination. (Ca-CHING) Fortunately for us, Sun Outdoor had a park that made it feel worth the painful $75/night feel worth it.
